What you will need:

  • VIN number and/or registration ID
  • License plate number
  • Current registration expiration date
  • Payment

Fees: Registration renewal fee and a $7.50 processing fee due at the time of purchase. Late fees assessed by Secretary of State may apply.  If your vehicle needs to pass an emissions test, the library will be unable to renew your license plate.

Cash, check, debit or credit cards accepted. No additional fee to use your debit or credit card.

Renewal is available during regular library hours

Any Illinois resident wishing to renew his or her license plate sticker may do so at the Six Mile Regional Library District.
