2016 Library Week

During the Week of April 10th, libraries across the country will be celebrating library services and promoting library use throughout their communities. The national theme for Library Week 2016 is “Libraries Transform”. Six Mile Regional Library District strives to be a beacon in our community by contributing to the transformation of individuals. We strive to do this through the materials we offer, the available community spaces at the library, and the engaging programs offered at both library locations.

So, our question for you, our community of library users, is: “Has the library changed your life?” If the answer is yes, tell us your story, and you will be entered into a drawing for a free Kindle Fire! Forms will be available at both locations of the Six Mile Regional Library District and submissions may be emailed to research@smrld.org or dropped off in the boxes located at the Research Desk. All submissions must be turned in by Saturday April 16th at 5:00 p.m. The drawing will be conducted on Monday April 18th at 1:00 p.m. and the winner will be immediately notified. There will only be one entry per person.
